I've been taking an interest in wearing head wraps lately either for Fashion Week or campaign shoots. Designer, Kgomotso, got in touch with me to try out her colourful range of head wraps from her brand: New-Expressions.

The brand New-Expressions is aimed at the modern African woman. The woman who can wear a head wrap both traditionally and non-traditionally. The woman who wears a head wrap who is both stylish and modest.

Personally I don't incorporate much colour into my everyday looks, if I wear something colourful it would just be as a pop. New-Expressions head wraps are perfect for just the right pop of colour with a neutral outfit. I tried on a range of different colours with a casual black and white outfit. What do you guys think?

The main aim of the brand is to encourage a variety of different women to experiment with head wraps and embrace it. To Kgomotso, head wraps symbolise African beauty and I couldn't agree more since they make such a colourful statement. Headwear is becoming really popular and thanks to New-Expressions you can follow the trend easily. Unique style and affordability at its best.
